Keeping our YMCA safe

Since the YMCA of Darke County re-opened in June after gyms were closed by state and local mandates to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have phased in areas and amenities as we are able to.

Most areas of the Y are open to members, with some limitations.

We ask all members entering the facility to wear a mask or face covering, and to keep it on in all common areas, including the lobby, locker rooms, and hallways.  Masks may be removed during strenuous exercise, if desired. Masks do not have to be worn in the pool.

Hand sanitizer is available throughout the facility. Disinfecting spray is available in all exercise areas and we ask members to wipe down any equipment they use. Our Sanitation Team also wipes down high-touch areas throughout the day, and our Cleaning Staff deep cleans at night.
